Representatives of the Malta ESG Alliance had the privilege to present their vision for a better Malta to the President of the Republic of Malta, George Vella.
Discussions evolved around the urgent need to re-invent the current economic model and move to a truly sustainable one, that respects the planetary boundaries and social foundations, looking beyond GDP. The MESGA representatives described their current collaborative approach and joint as well individual ambitions and actions to show that business strategies that focus on planet and people in addition to profits are urgently needed. They furthermore agreed on the core role policy makers have in providing a holistic vision and framework on how our country will thrive in the future, an vital call for action to achieve the 2030 sustainable development goals.
